New header because I’m finally learning how to ACTUALLY use Photoshop LMAO
A Reflection of 2024
I don’t normally do much to celebrate New Years. If I even go to a party or watch the ball drop or anything, it’s because I’m being dragged by somebody. Otherwise, the holiday is just a normal set of days for me. I don’t particularly care (aside from the irritation of constantly writing the wrong year on stuff for the first few days LMAO.) I don’t do resolutions—I know who I am lol! I know that I’ll go all in on a resolution and then forget about it before January’s over. I do hope to write more in 2025, but I won’t call it a resolution so I don’t jinx it. But, something that my therapist makes me do since I refuse to set goals through resolutions, is reflect on the previous year. He has me look at it in a way that helps me remember the good memories over the bad. This year will be easy, I think, because I had a lot more good than bad!
I published a book which is pretty cool, if you ask me. But publishing a book was so much work and so much stress that I lost the ability to write for a long time (and I did pick up another hyperfixation hobby which made writing even more difficult lol.)
Said book was also a part of Dark Mode SYK and it did exceedingly well. So, I am going to use this as a reminder to say that if you enjoyed the book, take a few seconds to rate & review it on Amazon and GoodReads! As an indie author, I’ll take all the help I can get, and it is always endlessly appreciated.
The Star Eaters Series
As previously stated, I didn’t do much writing in 2024. Or, at least, not enough writing to produce anything. That being said, I did very recently find some of the flow again for this series, and book two is officially back under way! Here’s a little snippet :)
Anything Else Going On?
I am severely addicted to Genshin Impact and Honkai: Star Rail, so any free time not spent sleeping or writing is usually spent on one of these games. So, if you like either of these games, hit me up! I love to talk about them and will throw my UIDs at anybody interested! :)
